Specializing in therapy for adults dealing with depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, and identity issues, Dr. Jenny focuses particularly on LGBTQIA2S+ clients, empath and HSP experiences, and fellow therapists. Her therapeutic approach is feminist and existential, with an emphasis on mindfulness and self-compassion.
Dr. Jenny earned both her Master’s and Doctoral degrees in Clinical Psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology and her Bachelor’s in Music and Songwriting from Berklee College of Music. As a member of PsyPact, she can provide virtual therapy in participating states.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Jenny has used her expertise in anxiety management to create an educational and inspirational workbook. This workbook, designed to help normalize and manage anxiety, features symbolic watercolors by her sister, Kristen Martin, a Broadway actress and artist. The workbook is available on the Anxiety Workbook page of this site, with proceeds supporting suicide prevention efforts.

Andrea specializes in compassionate care for grief, loss, and life transitions. She employs a diverse range of approaches, including Existential Therapy, Mindfulness, CBT, and Solution-Focused Therapy, with a strong focus on cultural and socio-political influences. Fluent in both English and Spanish, Andrea provides therapy in either language, available for both telehealth and in-person appointments. She tailors each session to meet the unique needs of her clients, empowering them through transformative growth.
In addition to therapy, Andrea offers immigration psychological assessments for individuals seeking asylum in the United States. These biopsychosocial assessments are critical for immigration cases involving Extreme Hardship Waivers, VAWA, DACA, U-Visas, and T-Visas. The assessment process, which can take up to three hours, is available as a single comprehensive session or broken into three one-hour sessions. Andrea offers these assessments at a rate of $1000, with services available in both English and Spanish.
